MEET THE COUPLE

Dominique is driven, loyal and always up for a challenge, whether it is reaching goals at work or completing the Comrades Marathon. He values time with friends and family, keeps Friday nights sacred for Parma ham pizza and brings energy and humour wherever he goes.

Victoria is a book lover, coffee shop explorer and pastry enthusiast. She is passionate about teaching and making a difference and her happiest moments are spent with family, pets and a beautiful sunset at the end of a walk. Thoughtful, grounded and full of heart, she brings care to everything she does.

Together, they balance and build each other. Victoria brings the soft and gentle order, Dominique brings the calm strength and fearless drive. Faith is the foundation of their love and with shared values, laughter and endless encouragement, they have found the best versions of themselves in each other.

OUR STORY

Once upon a time, Dominique and Victoria went to the same school. They never actually spoke to one another but Victoria definitely knew Dominique as that boy who won every single award, the one who made everyone else wonder if he had some kind of superpower.
Then in 2019, fate stepped in when both of them needed their windscreens fixed. Their paths crossed again and this time they discovered they were both studying at the same university. From there, their love story really began.

It was in the simple, everyday moments that our love blossomed. Warm afternoons spent in cozy coffee shops scattered across Johannesburg, hikes where we could escape the noise of the world and share our dreams, fears and laughter in meaningful, heartfelt conversations as well as peaceful moments spent with our families that reminded us what we love most about each other. These memories have deepened our love and wove our lives together in a way that feels timeless and true.

Then, on June 21st 2023, Dominique asked the big question at the stunning Kruger Shalati, The Train on the Bridge, set right in the iconic Kruger National Park. Surrounded by the beautiful African bush and a breathtaking sunset, it was the perfect moment to begin their forever.

And now, here we stand, ready to celebrate a love story shaped by shared adventures, gentle patience and a deep connection that has carried us through every step of our journey together.
